EUFORES had the honour to organise a National Parliamentary Workshop on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in cooperation with the Parliament of Finland in Helsinki.
A high level debate of Finnish Members of Parliament with top speakers and representatives from European Parliament, National Government, the European Commission, industry, science and NGO representatives was held to discuss the prospects of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Finland with a special focus on the EU Green Deal.

Background of the national parliamentary workshops
EUFORES organises national parliamentary workshops in all EU27 national parliaments. These high level events aim at discussing the latest situation and future plans on renewable energy and energy efficiency in the respective member state. The event gathers members of national parliament, European Parliament, officials of national governments, the European Commission and selected representatives from industry and the scientific sector.
