The EurObserv'ER Barometer

From 2005-2007, the consortium led by the French organisation, Observ'ER, was formed to develop "The EurObserv'ER Barometer". This project was a communication action aimed at disseminating the different indicators which reflect the up-to-date dynamics of renewable energy sources in Europe. The information was about the penetration of these technologies in the total energy supply, and the foresight for the following years in comparison with other conventional sources, investments and employment created by the implementation of these technologies.

EurObserv’ER at that time was a consortium made of four European organisations devoted to the promotion of renewable energy sources within the European Union. The Project team consisted of:

  • Observ’ER, the Observatory of Renewable Energies (Paris),
  • EUFORES, The European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources
  • Eurec Agency, the European Association of Renewable Energy Research Centers
  • EREC, The European Renewable Energy Council

The project ended in 2007. For information please visit the project website here.
