Renewable Energy in Romania - Opportunities and Challenges of the Clean Energy Package

In cooperation with the Committee for Industries and Services of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, EUFORES held a parliamentary workshop to debate the current issues discussed in the European Parliament regarding the Clean Energy Package as well as the specific situation in Romania.

Members of the European as well as the Romanian Parliament came together with government officials, representatives of the European Commission and experts in the field to share information regarding the implementation of renewable energies and energy efficiency policies in Romania, challenges towards a low carbon and energy efficient economy and to provide an outlook towards the European Union's 2020 targets and beyond.
